The 45-year-old Oscar-winning star also donated $ 200,000 to the NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund on Thursday, People.com reported.
Jolie said, “Rights do not belong to any group to be given to another person. Discrimination and impunity cannot be tolerated, explained or justified. I hope Americans can come together to address the deep structural mistakes of our society.”
He added, “I stand with the NAACP’s Legal Defense Fund in their fight for racial equality, social justice and urgent legal reform.”
Meanwhile, the actress celebrated her birthday with her six children, Maddox, 18, Pax, 116, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The actress and activist have been active since the epidemic of Kavid-1 spread around the world and has been donated to various organizations.
Jolie previously donated $ 1 million to No Kid Hungry, an organization that feeds babies in the Covid-19 epidemic.
