The electricity outage struck properties and street lights across Harrow, Stanmore and Wembley at 6pm on Sunday.
An underground electrical power cable fault is staying blamed for triggering the ability outage that is envisioned to last as late as 12.30am on Monday.
Inhabitants took to social media to complain about residence alarms constantly ringing but other folks enjoyed the darkness laying on intimate candlelit dinners ahead of Valentine’s Working day.
A National Grid spokesperson extra: “We apologise for the disruption to people in North West London who have been disconnected this evening.
