Delta flight has rough landing at Atlanta airport – WSB-Tv Channel 2

ATLANTA — A Delta flight reportedly seasoned a tough landing at Hartsfield-Jackson Global Airport Sunday afternoon.

According to a Delta spokesperson, flight 1277 from Dallas “experienced a flat tire and the plane came to relaxation on the taxi way” about 3:40 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft landed in the grass. A couple taxiways had been shut by the incident. All travellers were off the aircraft by 6 p.m.

A passenger onboard the aircraft instructed Channel 2 Action News, “We had a crash landing. Two tires are flat. We landed sideways on the runway. We are continue to stuck on the airplane. Docs are onboard assisting a single human being so much.”

There have been no confirmed experiences of injuries.

In viral movie of the incident that circulated on Twitter and TikTok, a flight attendant can be listened to telling passengers that he understands persons have connecting flights to capture, but that “Believe it or not, we have even bigger troubles that we are hoping to resolve.”

The FAA mentioned they will investigate, but that pilots are educated for these types of issues.

“Each landing equipment has several tires and pilots are skilled how to properly react to these situations,” FAA officers stated.
