Fireworks protesters honk horns close to Gracie Mansion to wake up de Blasio

Scores of motorists honked their auto horns close to Gracie Mansion Monday night to disrupt the mayor’s slumber in protest of the recent uptick in illegal fireworks shooting off across the city.

“We need to send a message that we need to stop these chaotic fireworks that [have] been going on throughout the town,” reported Councilman Chaim Deutsch, who attended the protest.

“So if we just cannot snooze, Mr. Mayor, you will not rest,” the councilman mentioned in a video statement posted to his Twitter account.

Deutsch stated the demonstration was expected to bring in a several hundred people.
