The tip of an iceberg
He added that it was “extremely regrettable” that science was politicized. Speaking to Chinese state television CCTN, Zhengli said: “The unknown virus we have discovered is actually just ice cubes. Of viruses and gives early warnings, “CCTN was quoted as saying.
“There will probably be another outbreak if we don’t study them,” he added.
Following his interview, U.S. President Donald Trump and his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also suggested that Covid-19 originated in a laboratory in the Chinese city of Ohan where the epidemic broke out in December last month. Earlier, Zhengli added that the world should be prepared for further outbreaks caused by the bat-borne coronavirus even after finding the world to fight the virus responsible for Covid-19.
