Extraordinary movie shared on social media showed rows of seaside houses engulfed in flames and collapsing on Guanaja, which lies all around 44 miles (70km) off the north coast of Honduras.

Govt minister Max Gonzales reported: “We can affirm that we have no human losses, but large content losses.”
