Hungry driver orders takeaway as she gets stuck in petrol station queue


hungry driver caught in a large queue for petrol requested a takeaway to be introduced to her on the forecourt.

Lily Potkin, 40, was caught for two hours in the “mother of all queues” at a petrol station in Harrow, north west London.

She was so hungry she requested Nando’s hen wrap and peri-peri chips from Deliveroo to her auto.

Her delivery driver gave her a thumbs up as he gave her the meals by the window and she posted images from the scene on her twitter account.

She explained: “It was definitely humorous. The folks at the rear of me observed him providing it and the mood altered.

“Everyone was definitely aggy and then I could see all the folks driving me cracking up. They ended up just in hysterics.”

Lily had long gone to the petrol station at lunchtime these days to get fuel for the college operate.

She explained: “Everything in me was indicating ‘go house you idiot’ as I was sat there receiving so hungry.

“The site visitors was relocating so little by little so I assumed I could get a Deliveroo wherever I was.

“I put the shipping and delivery pin a very little little bit more down the highway and he just pulled up right exterior my window.”

She inevitably managed to get £35 truly worth of fuel beneath the new petrol cap limitations but stated it was like the “Hunger Games”.

The mother of three posted a thread on Twitter documenting her Nando’s supply – with end users branding her a “genius”.
