Kansas Metropolis mayor gets racist threats right after issuing mask purchase

The mayor of Kansas City, Missouri, gained threatening and racist messages more than an order requiring people to have on confront coverings when in community areas — the worst of which declared that he “should swing from a tree” for instituting the coverage.

Quinton Lucas, who is black, shared the texts and a doctored photograph he been given in a Twitter thread Monday — the similar day his mask order took effect.
