WARSAW, Oct 19 (Reuters) – Nearly 6,000 Polish troopers are now guarding the country’s border with Belarus in stepped up protection actions in the confront of a surge in migration, the defence minister said on Tuesday.

The deployment of fresh troops marks a important expansion of the armed forces presence on the border as only on Saturday Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak experienced place the selection of troopers at more than 3,000.

Poland has declared a state of emergency in the location and plans to develop a wall on the border.
