A man needed surgery after inserting a two-foot-long phone charger into his own penis for sexual gratification, a report said.
Last month, Dr. Waliul Islam sought medical help at a hospital in northeastern India, claiming that an unidentified man had tried to hide the real cause of his illness. He told CNN on Monday.
Doctors gave the man linear advice, but he returned to the hospital five days later when he was still complaining of pain.
A surgeon at the hospital told the Islam Network, “Even after passing the stool several times, the cable did not come out.”
“As soon as the patient complained of severe pain, we decided to have surgery and saw that there was nothing in his bowel.”
Later, through X-rays, doctors discovered the phone charger inside his bladder, which is connected to the penis through the urethra.
“I read that people used to get sexual satisfaction by inserting instruments through the penis,” Islam said. “It’s a phenomenon and a psychiatrist can help her get over it.”
The surgeon said the man had recovered, but he noted that if he had been truthful, it could have saved us trouble and we could have treated him more quickly.
