According to multiple reports, the app’s source code was originally created by Pakistani developers, so the much-talked-about local version of TickTock seems to have a “Pakistan connection” to Maitron.
The Pakistani group, known as Cuboxus, is selling the Ticktick-Android Media app for creating and sharing “Short Video V2.5” on the CodeCanyon platform for short 34 (about Rs 2,567).
It is now being claimed that the Maitron app is a revised version of TickTick, a TickTock clone.

Micron’s popularity has skyrocketed after some people downloaded the app from Google Play and now it has reached more than 5 million.
The app’s description on Google Play states that it has been offered by MitronTV.
What is Maitron?
The description of the application reads, “Maitron is a Bengal short video and social platform based on people based in Bangalore, India.
However, there is nothing wrong with the team behind the Mitron Short Video Sharing app. In fact, the CodeCanyon platform shows that the TickTic source code has been sold 280 times so far.
