UCLA soccer legend Terry Donahue dies at 77

UCLA soccer coaching legend Terry Donahue, who was the winningest coach in Pac-12 Meeting and faculty record, died on Sunday at his home in Newport Beach front after a two-12 months combat with cancer, the college announced.

Donahue, 77, also served as the normal manager for the San Francisco 49ers from 2001-05.

Donahue concluded with an outstanding 151-74-8 history as the head mentor at UCLA. Through his tenure, the Bruins won or shared five league titles. Donahue took more than as head coach at 31 many years old, soon after serving as an assistant coach under Pepper Rodgers and Dick Vermeil.
