When Mohanlal was once approached for a pivotal role in the Priyanka Chopra movie (Throwback)

Mohanlal, a full-fledged actor from Mollywood, has made his presence felt in all the industries including Bollywood, Sandalwood, Tollywood and Bollywood. In 2011, the makers of Sat Khun Maaf approached Priyanka Chopra as well as Mukhyalal to play a pivotal role. Unfortunately, Mohanlal was replaced in this film instead of Anu Kapoor, and fans never got a chance to see the screen space where Priyanka and Pulimurugan star share.

Why did Mohanlal choose to forgive seven murders?

Instead of Mohanlal Sat Khun Maaf’s Annu Kapoor in 2011, several online portals reported that the actor himself withdrew from the project due to his busy schedule in Mollywood. Mohanlal initially did not comment on the matter, but later revealed that the superstar had no idea how the creators of Seven Murder Pardons had replaced him in the film.

Mohanlal also complained that the filmmakers did not give a proper explanation as to why he was replaced.

Mohanlal made his Bollywood debut through a movie company directed by Ram Gopal Verma. The film, starring Ajay Devgn and Vivek Oberoi, was a huge hit at the box office and critics praised the Mollywood star for his impeccable acting skills. Mohanlal later appeared in a few more Mollywood movies including Aag and Tej.
